I added some links to my website this past weekend. My goal is to add one link per day which will help my rank in search engines.

Thoughts 3/16/2007 pt. 2
Massive snowstorm today in NYC! It's cold, windy and horrible out which is good because I can work on my website. I guess it's for the better, staying home doing something constructive rather then out on a Friday night... I guess I would have to think about that again. :-)
With my site being transformed from a portal for business formations to a general business tools site, I need to figure out a way to organize the site, develop interesting content and create affiliate partnerships. I think the organizing aspect will be the most important. Who do I want to affiliate with? What other products do I want to offer? etc.
As the site stands now, I feel that it is marketable but nevertheless, I need traffic, which it isn't getting.

3/16/2007 Thoughts
I'm trying to generate some sort of traffic to my site, www.bizbloc.com, by using a blog. It will be interesting to see if this will work because I'm not really big on sharing thoughts, chatter etc.
It's amazing though that I have submitted my site to the major search engines and I have received only but a few unique visitors. I would say I have submitted the information about 3 weeks ago and from what I understand it does take 2-3 weeks for the search engines to find the site. I dont know how true this is but we'll see. Nevertheless, I'm working on building links so lets see what happpends.
